Deep fried foods are one of my guilty pleasures. Who doesn’t love fried chicken right? Does it help if we use corn oil or canola oil? Hmmnn were not sure if it matters really whether or not we use these expensive cooking oils. Maybe just take everything in moderation?

Anyway, Here are a few tips on how to get that perfect deep fried chicken.

1. Never mix oil and water.

It is very important that your food is as dry as possible. Try to use paper towels in wiping your meat dry before frying them. If you fry wet meat, the oil will splatter and you’ll probably end up with a booboo.

2. Equally Important

Your oil should be really hot before you fry anything in it. You’ll know it’s ready when you see it smoking already and tiny bubbles have formed.

3. Lastly, don’t overcrowd your pan.

If the pan is too crowded, your meat will not cook evenly.
