Tahong Soup is that the Filipino version of French Moules Marinière. Fresh mussels cooked in refreshing ginger broth. Enjoy this delicious mussels dish in only a couple of easy steps.
Tahong Soup Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 kilo tahong
- 3 tomatoes
- 3 cups water
- 1 bundle young onion leaves
- 1 medium piece ginger
- salt and pepper
Cooking Instructions:
- Wash the tahong thoroughly.
- Cut onion leaves into desired lengths; sliced the ginger thinly.
- Put 3 cups water in a pot pan, with the onion leaves, ginger and tomatoes.
- Bring to a boil.
- When boiling, add the tahong and cover for 10 minutes, then season with salt and pepper.
